The B3 water pump has been a staple of the industry for many years. The B3 water pump originated from the USA and is great for direct drive applications where the pump is driven via a drive shaft connected to the trucks PTO.
Direct drive is not what we would recommend for new builds. We recommend water pumps be driven via a variable displacement hydraulic system. However, if you're on a tight budget, then this pump provides excellent bang for the buck.
Traditionally B3 water pumps were sealed with a rope packing seal with is not ideal as they continually leak. Our B3 pumps feature a mechanical seal that eliminates the constant dripping that traditional plages this pump.
